Plumbing Service Technician

This position is a salary + commission based for motivated service technician.

You will perform plumbing services for both residential and commercial customers; diagnose problems and provide solutions & estimates to close the sale. Must be self-driven to service clients' needs, reliable, as well as proficient with NC Plumbing codes.

This is NOT a helper position, you will run service calls and provided a helper when needed!

​Position Responsibilities:

Our plumbing technicians diagnose, sell the customer options/recommendations to resolve their plumbing issue

• Must be able to provide complete plumbing, drain cleaning and other related service calls

• Communicate effectively with customers providing them information to make confident buying decisions

• Establish customer rapport to sell the right products and services

• Recommend other products/services as needed to ensure the customer's plumbing is in great working condition

• Maintain a clean and organized job site, ensuring the customers home and/or place of business is cleaner than when you arrived

• Maintain a clean, organized and well stocked service van

• Be accurate and timely with service ticket information, keeping the customer and job records up to date with all pricing and communications with the customer

• Possess exceptional follow-through and follow-up abilities on each and every service call

• Supplies and parts management for plumbing

• After hours work only in emergency situations for regular customers

Requirements:

• Minimum 3+ years service plumbing experience

• Maintain a professional clean cut appearance

• iPad/iPhone knowledge and usage capability

• Understand plumbing codes and how to apply them in on-the-job applications

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Demonstrate personal pride in work, responsibility and accountability

• Candidate must have a valid NC driver's license and own transportation to and from work

• Selected candidates will undergo a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicles check
